Professors Terrence and Rita Roberts visited Gloucestershire during Black History Month 2003
He was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal by President Clinton - this is the highest peacetime award possible in the United States. During their vist to Gloucestershire last year, Rita and Terry spoke to the police force, council employees, the Black Workers' Network, the black community and to 4 secondary schools.
