AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
Resource providing information on how families in Poland celebrate Easter

DESCRIPTION OF LESSON / ACTIVITY:



  • Powerpoint presentation with captions in English only – but to which Polish could readily be added to create a dual language resource.
  • Can be used in class on interactive whiteboard or as part of whole school celebration
  • Can be used with Polish EAL learners to stimulate talk on familiar topic
    1. to develop English in small group work
    2. to enable learner to be the expert, responding to questions from classmates
  • Individual slides can be printed off to create display materials
  • Slides portray aspects of Easter in Poland, including church and family celebrations
