Training courses provided by The Race Equality and Diversity Service currently available include the following:
- Race Equality and Diversity
- Racist Incidents
- Traveller Education Issues
- Refugee Issues in the Citizenship Curriculum
- English as an Additional Language - Primary
- English as an Additional Language - Secondary
- English as an Additional Language for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Trainee Teachers
- English as an Additional Language - Teaching Assistant Training
- Aiming High - African Caribbean Achievement
- Working with EAL pupils in the Early Years
- Working with Refugee and Asylum Seeking Pupils
Some of the above courses can be booked through the LEA PDC and are held at the Hucclecote Centre.
The Race Equality and Diversity Service also offers school based training.
