Holocaust day, 27th Jan
Let’s remember the suffering caused by man.

On Hitler’s orders, they packed up the Jews
Sardined into devastation, many lifes to lose.

Locked up innocent children, confused and scared
Bruised, beaten, battered, bodies stripped and bared.

Old, elderly people didn’t have any hope
  Branded idle, worthless

Coiled to death, knotted like rope.
24-7 trains trundled to and fro

Am, pm, the Jews didn’t even know
Where they were heading, whether they ’d live,

Unjustifiable, Evil are words often used to describe
The torture Jews encountered nowhere to hide.

Slaughter is what they sadly choose to face.
  For just admitting, confessing,

To their religion, self-identity or race.
