Introduction: Kigulya Project at Tredworth Junior School

A year 5 pupil writes about the start of the KIGULYA project: -

“As an introduction to our Kigulya study, a visitor came to school to work with the whole year 5 group.   His name was Sam Mukumba and he came originally from the country of Uganda, which is where Kigulya is.

“Mr Mukumba worked all day with storytelling, animal and nature designs and clay work (African musical instruments called shakers).

“Our study will look at Geography, Art, Design Technology, Music, Drama, English and Science.”
