Kigulya Village Shop

A mock-up of   “Kigulya Village Shop”   was set up in Kingsholm School in an area shared by the two Year 5 classes.   The pupils enjoyed a multi-sensory experience, exploring the artefacts inside   which would typically be found in a Ugandan village shop, and were able to “buy” their chosen goods with real Ugandan money, and compare the shop's contents with those on display in photographs of the actual village shop in Kigulya.
