The Black Forum - two years on - is a committed group of people from a variety of backgrounds: Education, Social Services, Business, Youth and Community, retired - and established community leaders. All, however, have one thing in common - they want better opportunities for the next generation. The Black Forum does not want to sit and talk, it wants to DO! And it DOES!
The members are proactive and have already impacted on schools, parents, and pupils. The facilitators have committed themselves to extra meetings, without complaint or financial reward. The training sessions have been enlightening and everyone has benefited. We are determined to continue and expand upon the good work already established and are keen to acknowledge the invaluable contribution these people are making. So, thanks to : Paul, Alex, Charles, Maverick, Haltia, Pauline, Jacqui and Carol you are the B.F. Facilitators and B.F means Bloomin' Fantastic!
