Mentoring
"Vision" mentoring, this year includes Haltia Watkins in her full-time role as learning mentor for Black students in our schools. She meets young students on an individual basis and establishes specific targets and programmes to enhance learning and personal development.
Mentoring has also been extended to all staff working in the EMA Team. We have renewed our membership with The National Mentoring and Befriending Network, an accredited organisation sponsored by the DfES, The Home Office and Learning Skills, and are pleased to have been accepted again for full accreditation. Also, we are delighted that Fishpool was recently awarded the National Mentoring and Befrienders Network Approved Provider Status. 'Well Done' to all those involved!
