Oxstalls and St Paul's pupils become teachers for a day!

Students became teachers when they helped a Czech language class to read (and play Bingo) in Czech. Oxstalls School, with St Paul's, recently ran a very successful short course in Czech language, for teaching staff and others working with Czech and Slovak pupils. Year 7 and 8 students at Oxstalls had first expertly prepared some Czech party food. They were then joined by St Paul's pupils, and everyone in the class had fun as students helped their 'pupils'. Parents came to watch, and finally all got together to enjoy the delicious buffet. Course members were delighted to have the chance to try out their language skills on real Czech speakers!

We hope to run another short Czech Language course. Please contact Amanda Barns at St Paul's School if you are interested in joining. Tel: 01452 521872
