E-LAMP - So Far, So Good!
The E-Learning And Mobility projects undertaken last year have been very successful and the good news is that we have been funded by the DCSF for another year.
The Distance Learning project, which involved 10 pupils from Kingsholm, Bishops' College, Cleeve, Dene Magna and Maidenhill, has ensured that the pupils have been in contact with their schools as well as work being sent and returned by email while they were travelling.
The Traveller Team will continue to support schools and children in this very worthwhile project for at least one more travelling season.
The project for youngsters disengaged from school was also very successful. All 5 of the 15 or 16 year old learners achieved ASDAN level 1 wider key skills awards as well as learning important ICT skills along the way.
We will expand the project this year, and will work with 3 learners at level 2 and add 4 new learners to level 1.
