Pittville School Celebrates European Day of Languages

On Thursday 26th September pupils and staff at Pittville School had their attention drawn to the fact that it was European Day of Languages by the Head of MFL Francoise Yvin.

Tutors were asked to give out a Quiz to their Tutor group and there were to be prizes for the winning tutor group in each year. The Quiz generated a lot of interest and a competitive streak was evident - mainly amongst Tutors it has to be said!

In the Canteen there were flags on display from European countries and the meals for the day had a definite European flavour to them. Pictured is Madame Yvin at Pittville's Open Evening where the French theme was carried on with French food and drink for prospective pupils and their parents to sample.
