Hindu Dancing Group Visit Benhall Infant School

The Hindu Dancing Group at St John's Primary School gave a fantastic performance to the pupils of Benhall Infant School on Wednesday, 11th July. They performed a selection of dances that they have been learning in their lunchtime club.

The infants watched spellbound and when the performance was completed, one child raised his hand and asked the question, 'How did you get to be so good?'

To end the session, the dancers worked with groups of infant pupils, showing them different dancing steps and hand movements.

'Our children thoroughly enjoyed the experience,' said Hazel West, Deputy Head teacher of Benhall Infant School. 'We hope that the dancers will be able to return next year.'

Hanisha Nanawala, from St John's School said, 'I love dancing and it is exciting going to another school to perform.'
