Nepalese Links: Cirencester Kingshill and Bishops' College

One day at the end of the summer term, newly arrived Nepalese pupils at Cirencester Kingshill and Bishops' College, Gloucester, met up in Cirencester for an outing to find out more about local history and make friends who speak the same language. The pupils were shy at first, but soon found they had lots in common. They thoroughly enjoyed a visit to the Corinium Museum, where helpful staff supplied us with worksheets and information about the exhibits. This was followed by hot chocolate - to warm up after a spectacular summer shower! Despite the inclement weather, we still managed to have our picnic in the park (in the shelter of the bandstand!) and play games on the grass. The pupils exchanged emails, and intend to keep in touch with each other. We hope we can arrange another visit soon, as it was a delight to see these pupils able to converse freely in their own language, with new found friends!
