Rangoli Patterns

Rangoli designs are painted or created out of coloured sand or rice powder. They are placed outside the door of the house at Diwali as a welcome sign to visitors. They are usually based on symmetrical patterns, or they could be pictures eg Gods, Godesses, Divas.
