GROUP H will study the life of Mohamed Sharif.

First read the life story of Mohamed Sharif (p117-128).

(a) Construct a CV of Mohamed's life up to 1936.
(Ask your teacher for advice in constructing a CV).

(b) List the 5 steps leading up to Mohamed's arrival in Glasgow.

(c) List the 3 jobs Mohamed did during World War 2.

(d) Read p118-124 and p127-128 and write a TV or radio interview with Mohamed about his war time experiences and life at the end of the war.

(e) Now write a local newspaper report about Mohamed's life as a market trader.

GROUP H will also study the life of Babar Vaqas (p129).

(f) Write another news feature to show how Babar comes from a family of achievers.

Now hand in your work for display and go on to the next whole class activity.
